IT'S OUR TIME!
Football is the most popular sport in America. Yet, there has never been a true professional football league for women, until now. The NFL acquires the best talent in the world each year from college programs throughout the U.S. We are adopting the same business model. We are taking the best female athletes on the planet and creating the first women’s professional football league of its kind. Girls are playing flag football in high schools throughout the country. The NFL has partnered with 15 colleges to add women’s flag football to their athletic programs. This is the perfect time for the WFL to introduce women’s professional football to the world.
WHO WE ARE
WFL is the first professional women’s football league of its kind. Our league will rival their male counterparts in every way. We are preparing to shoot a sports docuseries to show the world who we are. The docuseries will feature the Exhibition Season, which shows how we comprise 4 teams in 4 different states.
The Exhibition Season will document the formation and progress of the first 4 teams of the WFL. The first four teams will be announced in the coming weeks.

What Would You Like to Know?
WHEN DO YOU PLAY?
The WFL is a spring football league. Our season begins in May and extends through July, culminating in a Championship Game the first week of August.
HOW DOES YOUR LEAGUE DIFFER FROM LINGERIE OR SEMI-PRO FOOTBALL?
Our league is comprised of former collegiate athletes from numerous varsity sports such as: basketball, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, softball, swimming, track & field, volleyball, etc. Our athletes are placed in an environment that is conducive to learning and playing football at the highest level.
DO YOU PAY YOUR ATHLETES?
Yes, our athletes are paid. The WFL is the first women's professional football league of its kind. Playing in the WFL is a full-time job. Our athletes practice, watch film, and workout 5 days a week.

2024 WFL EXHIBITION SEASON
The Women's Football League is proud to announce the WFL Exhibition Season. The 2024 Exhibition Season will feature the first of the four teams of the WFL. The Exhibition Season will feature one team from each division. There will six game schedule (five games vs WFL teams and one game vs a semi-pro opponent). The top two teams of the league will play in the Exhibition Championship Game.
